Pablo Vazquez

Name: Pablo Vazquez
Diagnosis: Multiple Sclerosis
D.O.B: 01 января 1978
Gender: Male
Country: Australia

Treatment: Four neural stem cell injections via lumbar puncture, self cell activation and proliferation program, physical therapy

Pablo Vazquez was a 35-year-old male patient from Australia who was admitted into Puhua International Hospital for stem cell treatment of multiple sclerosis (MS), he had “Progressive motor disability of the limbs for more than five years.”

Medical condition before Stem Cell Treatment for Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

Prior to his arrival at Puhua International Hospital, Patient Pablo Vazquez suffered from ataxia, spasticity and cognitive disorders.

Patient Pablo Vazquez had walking difficulties and fatigue. He had poor balance, with noted wide based ataxic gait. His muscle tone was increased in his lower limbs, so the relevant movements were not flexible. He felt heavy and unsteady with his legs. He also felt some numbness and tingling in his feet.

When measured, it was noted that his muscle strength was at “level 4” in the proximal legs and at “level 4-” in the distal legs. The upper limbs measured normally. Abnormal reflexes were noted in the ankles.

His “finger-to-nose” test and “rapid alternating movements” were relatively slow and clumsy, especially on the left side. “Toe heel shin” test was inaccurate, especially on the right side. He was troubled by symptoms of urgent urination and incontinence. The CSF assessment showed positive oligoclonal bands, consistent with MS.  Urinary dysfunction was documented as well.

Stem Cell Treatment for Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

Four neural cell injections via lumbar puncture, one neural cell injection via venous approach, self cell activation, proliferation therapy, rehabilitation therapy, and Traditional Chinese Therapy (TCM)

Medical condition after Stem Cell Treatment for Multiple Sclerosis (MS)

After Stem Cell Treatment, Mr. Vazquez’s condition improved. His muscle tone decreased to some extent, which has made his movements more flexible and supple than it was prior to Stem Cell Treatment (SCT). He could begin to do “rapid-alternating-movements” more quickly and with more flexibility. His “finger-to-nose” test was more accurate as well.

Patient Pablo Vazquez is more energetic and feels less fatigued than before. Prior to Stem Cell Treatment for MS, he was only able to walk for 2 or 3 steps without assistance. However, he soon became able to walk more than 10 meters without a stopping for a rest. Improvements were also seen with his balance and gait. His urinary dysfunction was greatly improved.
